Today, significant repatriation activities were conducted in Ukraine, resulting in the return of 1000 bodies. According to Russian sources, these bodies belong to Ukrainian soldiers. This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters.
In the coming days, law enforcement agencies, in collaboration with MIA experts, will conduct necessary examinations to identify the repatriated bodies.
These efforts were made possible through the joint work of the Coordination Headquarters, the Joint Center under the SBU, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other security and defense entities.
The Coordination Headquarters expressed gratitude to the International Committee of the Red Cross for their assistance in this process.
Special thanks were given to the personnel of the Central Office of the CVC GS of the Armed Forces, who facilitate the transportation of the repatriated to designated specialized institutions.
