The Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 95 out of 115 drones launched by Russian troops against Ukraine on November 20. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Forces on Telegram.
Starting from 6 PM on Thursday, November 20, the enemy attacked Ukraine with 115 drones, including Shahed, "Gerbera", and others, from directions including Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsk-Akhtarsk (RF), and Hvardiiske (temporarily occupied Crimea), with around 70 being Shahed drones.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
As of 9 AM on Friday, November 21, the air defense had shot down 95 drones across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Nineteen attack drones were reported to hit 12 locations, with debris falling in four areas.
The most affected were civilian infrastructure and private households in the Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa regions. Sadly, there are casualties among the civilian population.
Additionally, the enemy struck the city of Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs. As a result of the attack, five people were killed, and high-rise buildings, a market, a supermarket, and vehicles were damaged.
“Russia continues to attack southern Ukraine with strike drones. Several groups of enemy drones have been detected in the airspace. Please stay safe,” the Air Forces urged.
