Ukraine's air defense forces successfully neutralized 101 out of 114 drones used by Russian troops to attack the country on the evening of November 17. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Beginning at 20:00, the aggressors launched four Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Rostov and Voronezh regions, along with 114 strike drones, including types Shahed and Gerbera, from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 70 of these were Shahed drones.
In response to the attack, Ukrainian defense forces deployed aviation, anti-aircraft missile systems, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
As of 08:30 on November 18, air defense reported the destruction of 101 UAVs in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
Hits from four missiles and 13 strike drones were recorded at 15 locations, along with debris falling at two sites.
