Ukrainian forces have revealed the devastation wrought by Russian invaders in Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region. The images were shared on the official page of the Ukrainian Ground Forces on Facebook.
According to the Donetsk regional military administration, there are 4,800 residents remaining in Kostyantynivka. Although evacuation is still possible, numerous burnt vehicles at the city’s exits indicate the perilous nature of the evacuation operations.
Military officials emphasize that staying in the city is extremely hazardous for civilians. The enemy is continuously dropping guided bombs on residential areas, turning them into hellish landscapes. Several such areas near Hromova Street can be seen in the published photos.
Taking advantage of favorable weather, Russian forces are attempting to infiltrate Kostyantynivka through foot assaults and by bringing in equipment. However, the Defense Forces, particularly the soldiers of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade Cold Yar, are resisting the invaders and preventing them from approaching the city.
