On the evening of November 16, Russian forces launched a new attack on Ukraine, firing two "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles and 128 drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, air defense successfully neutralized 91 of these drones.
The attack began at 8 PM from the Rostov region, as well as from Kursk, Bryansk, and the temporarily occupied Crimea. Approximately 80 of the drones used were of the Shahed type.
Ukrainian defense forces, including aviation and anti-aircraft units, actively countered the assault.
By the morning of November 17, 32 impacts of drones were recorded at 15 locations, along with two impacts from ballistic missiles.
The assault continues, with enemy drones still in the airspace.
