We are currently addressing the aftermath of today's combined strike from Russia. The enemy targeted critical infrastructure essential for normal living conditions. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko on Telegram.
The regions affected include Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv. Rescue teams and the National Police are on-site at the attack locations. Necessary specialists and specialized equipment are deployed. Over a dozen fires across Ukraine are being extinguished by the State Emergency Service.
In Dnipro, Russia targeted a residential building with a drone strike. Rescuers pulled the body of a deceased person from the rubble. Ten people were injured, and around thirty were rescued.
We have reports of two individuals missing and out of contact with their families. Search operations are ongoing. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service are present at the tragedy site to assist those affected in coping with stress. Police are aiding in the evacuation and documenting evidence of war crimes by the Russian Federation.
In contact with Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk, we are coordinating actions of services at the impacted sites. I am providing constant updates to President Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko regarding the status of rescue operations.
The situation is challenging, but we will endure. All services are working tirelessly to minimize the impacts of the Russian attack on essential human infrastructure.
