The Ukrainian special operations forces successfully struck a transport-loading vehicle for the Russian Iskander missile system and an enemy radar station. This was reported by the special operations command (SOC).
"On the night of October 4, due to the joint efforts of one of the SOC units and the insurgent group 'Black Spark', a transport-loading vehicle for the Iskander was destroyed. The strike occurred near the village of Ovsjannikove in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. This vehicle was used for transporting, loading, and preparing missiles for launch against Ukrainian territory," the report states.
Furthermore, the SOC and representatives of the insurgent movement incinerated the radar station 1L122 'Garmon'. This radar was stationed near the village of Nizhny Reutets in the Kursk region.
"The compact radar was designed for detecting and tracking aerial targets and subsequent targeting", the SOC added.
As a reminder, on the night of October 28, the Ukrainian special operations forces destroyed the latest 'Buk-M3' and targeted the Russian radar 'Nebo-U'. The 'Buk-M3' can hit targets at distances of up to 80 km, while 'Nebo-U' can detect fighter jets at distances of up to 400 km. Each of these systems is valued at several hundred million dollars.
