Eight people, including a child, have been injured in Kherson as a result of Russian shelling, with another man wounded by explosives dropped from a drone. This was reported by the local administration and the head of the regional government, Oleksandr Prokudin, on Telegram.
During the night, Russian forces launched an attack on Kherson using strike drones. In the Dnipro district, a "Shahed" type UAV hit a residential building, causing a fire. An 80-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man suffered explosive injuries and burns. Both were hospitalized.
Around 6 AM, another resident of Kherson was injured in the Dnipro district when a drone dropped explosives on a 59-year-old man. He sustained severe injuries and was also hospitalized.
Later, around 7:30 AM, the Korabelny district of Kherson was shelled again. "A 16-year-old teenager was hit. He suffered a mine blast injury, a concussion, and shrapnel wounds to his body and face. An ambulance took the boy to the hospital," Prokudin noted.
According to him, five adults were also injured in this attack, and several apartment buildings and private homes were damaged.
