As of 09:00, air defense forces have shot down or neutralized 72 enemy UAVs of various types, including Shahed and Gerbera, in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine. This information was released by the press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
"According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense has shot down or neutralized 72 enemy UAVs, including types 'Shahed' and 'Gerbera', in the northern, southern, and eastern territories. 47 strikes by combat UAVs were recorded at 10 different locations. The attack is ongoing, with several enemy UAVs still in the airspace," the statement said.
It is also reported that on the night of October 24, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 128 strike UAVs, including 'Shahed', 'Gerbera', and other models from directions: Kursk, Milleryovo, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, Chauda, and Gvardeyske – TOT AR Crimea, with about 90 of them being 'Shaheds'.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The day before, 92 enemy UAVs of 'Shahed', 'Gerbera', and other types were shot down or neutralized.
