In Kharkiv, a Russian drone has struck a private kindergarten in the Kholodnohirskiy district, causing a fire. This was reported by the city mayor Ihor Terekhov via his Telegram channel.
"The attack on the kindergarten has resulted in injured children, and there is a fire at the site," he stated.
Shortly after, the mayor confirmed that the children had been evacuated.
"As of now, all children have been evacuated from the kindergarten. The fire is ongoing," Terekhov noted.
Later, the head of the OVA, Oleg Synegubov, reported at least four injuries.
"We know of four individuals injured as a result of the enemy attack. At least two of them are in serious condition. Medical teams are working at the scene. The information is being updated," Synegubov informed.
By 11:30, the number of injured had increased to six, as reported by the head of the regional administration.
"We have information about two more individuals who were injured due to the Russian strike on Kharkiv. One is a man and the other a woman, both are being hospitalized. The woman is in serious condition with burns. Medical staff are providing all necessary assistance," Synegubov added.
