The situation in Kyiv, Ukraine, worsens as the number of injured from the shelling has risen to 22. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine via Telegram.
"As a result of the attack, two people have died: a man and a woman born in 1956 and 1959. A total of 22 individuals have been injured, including 4 children," the rescuers stated.
It is noted that the affected areas include the Darnytsia, Desnyanskyi, Dniprovskyi, Holosiivskyi, Pecherskyi, and Solomianskyi districts of the capital; at least ten residential buildings have been damaged.
Currently, firefighters are working to extinguish a blaze in the Dniprovskyi district, and the fire has been localized.
Psychologists from the Kyiv Emergency Service have provided assistance to 31 individuals. More than 340 rescuers and 83 units of emergency equipment are involved in addressing the aftermath of the attack.
