The number of casualties from the drone attack in Kharkiv has now reached 9, with one fatality reported. This information has been provided by emergency services.
Damage includes a store, cafe, office building, and 6 vehicles. Three fire outbreaks occurred, the largest being in the kindergarten building covering an area of 500 square meters. At the time of the strike, 48 children were in the shelter, and rescuers, alongside police and volunteers, quickly evacuated them to safety.
Approximately 60 emergency responders, 13 units of equipment, psychologists, pyrotechnicians, canine units, police officers, medical personnel, volunteers, and city services are involved in addressing the consequences of the attack.
The fires have been extinguished, and emergency rescue operations are ongoing.
