On the night of October 15 to 16, 2025, the Ukrainian military struck an oil refinery in the Saratov region of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the General Staff.
The Saratov oil refinery is among the oldest oil processing facilities in Russia. As of 2023, it processed 4.8 million tons of oil.
The facility plays a crucial role in supplying the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
