Following a recent assault by Russian forces on DTEK's thermal power station, two workers were injured, and the equipment sustained significant damage. This information was reported by the company's press service.
According to preliminary reports, medical assistance was provided to the injured.
“The thermal power station's equipment has been severely damaged. We are currently working diligently to address the aftermath. Since the onset of the full-scale invasion, DTEK's thermal power stations have been attacked over 200 times,” the company stated.
Additionally, it is important to note that the government has enacted a moratorium on energy disconnections in frontline communities. Russian forces have once again targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure. As of the morning of October 7, power outages have been reported in the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
