The defense forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 73 drones launched by the Russian military into the country, with 21 sites reporting hits from enemy drones and missiles.   

This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.

Since 18:00 on Friday, October 3, aggressors have launched a total of 109 drones, including types such as Shahed and «Gerbera». Launches were made from Russian cities of Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo.

Additionally, the Russians used three ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M/KN-23 type, launched from the Rostov and Voronezh regions.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 09:00 on Saturday, the air defense has shot down or jammed 73 enemy drones of various types, including Shahed and «Gerbera» in the northern and eastern parts of the country.

Reports indicate that there were hits from three missiles and 36 attacking drones from the Russian Federation in 21 locations, while debris from downed targets was noted in four other areas.

Military officials emphasize that the enemy attack continues. Several Russian UAVs have been detected in the country’s airspace. Citizens are urged to follow safety protocols.
