On the night of September 27, the Vinnytsia region faced a drone attack by the Russian army. An impact was recorded on a critical infrastructure facility, resulting in a fire. According to the State Emergency Service, firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze.
Over 30 firefighters and 8 pieces of equipment were involved in addressing the aftermath of the attack. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.
The Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration reported that a residential building was also damaged during the drone strike — windows were shattered and the roof was affected. One residential building remains without electricity, with recovery efforts ongoing. Train services that were temporarily halted due to the attack have now resumed.
