Ukrainian air defense forces managed to neutralize 97 out of 115 drones launched by Russian aggressors on the evening of September 26. This information comes from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via their Telegram channel.
Starting from 21:00 on September 26, the Russians initiated an attack with 115 combat UAVs, including Shahed, 'Gerbera', and others, launched from directions such as Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). More than 70 of these were Shahed drones.
The defense was provided by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and unmanned systems as part of Ukraine's defense forces.
As of 09:00 on September 27, preliminary data indicated that 97 UAVs were shot down or suppressed across northern, southern, eastern, and central Ukraine.
Seventeen strikes were recorded at six locations, with debris from the downed drones falling in two areas. The attack continues, with new groups of combat UAVs detected in the north, as warned by the Air Force.
