The President of Ukraine convened a significant military meeting. Key military leaders participated, including Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, and other officials.

He provided updates on reports concerning the front lines and key operational areas, as well as the situation in border regions.

«We are paying special attention to the counteroffensive operation in Dobropillia. As of this morning, 168.8 km² of territory has been liberated, with an additional 187.7 km² cleared of Russian sabotage groups. The total losses of the Russians within this operation have reached nearly 3,000, with most being irretrievable. We are also replenishing our reserves for Ukraine. Thanks to all units involved in the operation», — emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.

There were also reports on the situation in Kupiansk and surrounding areas. The progress of our actions in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions was thoroughly discussed.

The Commander-in-Chief reported on the downing of a Russian Su-34 in Zaporizhzhia.

Thanks to our soldiers for their precision. This aircraft, along with others, was used by the Russians to conduct bombing raids on Zaporizhzhia and other cities. We will continue to justifiably eliminate Russian military aviation in response to strikes on our cities and people. We are working with partners to further strengthen our air defense. Following the meetings and agreements in New York, there are corresponding directives for the Ministry of Defense and Ukrainian diplomats», — wrote Zelensky on Facebook.

Additionally, he reported that the Commander-in-Chief addressed recent incidents involving drones on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. Ukrainian military forces recorded incursions of reconnaissance drones into our airspace, likely Hungarian drones. They may have been conducting reconnaissance on the industrial potential in the border areas of Ukraine.

«I instructed to verify all available data and promptly report on each recorded incident», — stated Volodymyr Zelensky.
