During the night, Kyiv was once again targeted by Russian forces. The shelling resulted in significant damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure in the Solomyanskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, and Dniprovskyi districts. This was reported by the DSNS.
In the Solomyanskyi district, a five-story residential building was hit, leading to a fire on the 3rd and 4th floors with partial destruction. A 12-year-old girl was found dead under the rubble, while three individuals were rescued and one person was injured. Firefighters are currently on-site, and the fire has been localized.
Another strike occurred at the Cardiology Institute, where the bodies of two deceased individuals were discovered. The fire was also localized.
Additionally, a fire broke out in a two-story non-residential building, with one man hospitalized before the arrival of rescuers. The fire has been extinguished.
Other incidents included strikes on a warehouse and a private residential house, where two individuals were hospitalized with acute stress reactions before rescuers arrived.
In the Holosiivskyi district, a one-story private home was hit, resulting in partial roof and wall damage, but fortunately no fire occurred. Another address experienced damage and fire in a private residence, which was extinguished with no reported injuries.
In the Sviatoshynskyi district, debris fell on open ground. In the Dniprovskyi district, two parked cars caught fire, with the fire extinguished and no injuries reported. In the Darnytskyi district, a building of a children's educational institution was damaged due to the shelling.
