Premier Yulia Svyrydenko showcased the damage to the government building that occurred for the first time on September 7 during a Russian attack since the war began. She shared this update on her Facebook page.
Svyrydenko assured that there were no injuries, and the fire has already been extinguished. She emphasized that the government's work would continue despite the destruction.
"I urge our partners and all nations around the world to turn their frustration with Russia's actions into effective support for Ukraine – not for the government building, but to protect our people across the country. It is time to act. Ukraine needs more air defense systems to safeguard our skies and energy infrastructure, especially with winter approaching. Increase the sanctions pressure on Russia to reduce the resources for their military machine" - noted Svyrydenko.
