On the night of September 6 to 7, Russia launched a powerful attack on Ukrainian territories, employing drones and missiles. Air defense managed to neutralize 751 out of 818 attacking objects, including 9 missiles and 56 drones at 37 sites.

Details: Starting from 5 PM on September 6, the enemy utilized:

  • 805 Shahed-type drones and various imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Oryol, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Hvardiske, Chauda – TOT Crimea;
  • 9 Iskander-K cruise missiles from the Kursk region – RF;
  • 4 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from TOT Crimea.

As of 8:30 AM, air defense shot down 751 aerial targets:

  • 747 enemy Shahed drones and imitation drones;
  • 4 Iskander-K cruise missiles.

There were recorded hits from 9 missiles and 56 drones at 37 locations, with debris falling at 8 sites.

What preceded: The previous record for drone usage was registered on the night of July 9, 2025: Russia attacked with 741 air assault means, 718 of which were neutralized by air defense, and air forces recorded hits at 4 locations, while debris fell at 14 sites.
