The facade of the building suffered significant damage due to a missile attack.
In the night of July 4, Kyiv experienced a missile-drone strike that severely damaged the warehouse of the publishing house and the online store 'Our Format'. Parts of the walls collapsed, all windows were shattered, concrete ceilings were damaged, and there was destruction inside the premises. This was reported by the publishing house on its Facebook page.
As a result of the shelling and firefighting, some books were damaged. Therefore, the publishing house has temporarily suspended the shipment of orders.
“The most important thing is that no one was hurt and everyone is alive. We will restore the iron and concrete, and we will reprint the books… The website and call center of the online store are operational, and we are ready to answer any questions regarding orders. We plan to resume shipments next week. Thank you to all our readers for your understanding,” the message states.
In the comments, people are asking how they can help and offering financial support. However, the publishing house stated that they are not opening fundraising for recovery, assuring that they will manage on their own, and encouraging donations to assist the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
