In Ukraine, an innovative digital assistant for the Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, has been launched. Now, Ukrainians can interact with him on Telegram, opening new avenues for sharing ideas regarding digitization.
"The main goal of this chatbot is to assist citizens in expressing their thoughts and suggestions. We want to ensure that no idea goes unnoticed. Through the chatbot, Ukrainians can send their proposals, resumes to join the team, and receive answers to questions about state services," said Fedorov.
This digital assistant can communicate not only through text but also respond in Mykhailo Fedorov's voice. However, it is important to note that the bot does not provide personalized advice, as it does not have access to users' personal data.
"This project is one of the first in the world demonstrating how ministers can utilize technology to enhance interaction with citizens. We trained the assistant based on Mykhailo Fedorov's public statements, using over 10,000 materials from media and social networks," noted Danylo Tsivok, Chief AI Officer of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
To start the interaction, users need to access the chatbot @thedigital_bot on Telegram, authorize through the Diia app, and ask their questions. The artificial intelligence will process the request and provide a response, while interesting ideas will be forwarded to Mykhailo Fedorov. In the future, a similar assistant is planned to be launched in WhatsApp.
