The Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, represented by Deputy Minister Oleksiy Nikitenko, has signed a partnership agreement with the charity organization «Charity Fund «Future – for Kids».
This document aims to create new opportunities for developing the sporting potential of Ukrainian youth and their self-realization through sports.
As part of the collaboration, the partners will work on a multi-sport project called «Path to Success», aimed at supporting the Olympic reserve and promoting a healthy lifestyle among young people.
The charity fund has also developed the concept of international sports camps called Olympic Dreams. The mission of this project is to support the country's Olympic reserve, organize a sustainable training process, and gain international sports experience for future victories of Ukraine on the global sports stage.
In the three years since its inception, Olympic Dreams has:
- conducted 16 outbound sports camps;
- expanded to 7 countries;
- engaged young athletes from 13 Olympic sports.
Systematic partnership between the state and the charity sector is the key to creating new opportunities for the young generation of Ukrainian athletes. Joint efforts will contribute not only to the recovery of the Olympic reserve but also to the involvement of more children and teenagers in active leisure, sports, and a healthy lifestyle.
