Renowned Ukrainian fighter Anna Hyria has been honored as the best amateur athlete of the year by the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF). According to the MMA Federation of Ukraine, this prestigious accolade reflects her remarkable achievements in 2025.
In February of that year, Anna claimed the world champion title in Tbilisi in the 47.6 kg category and also secured a gold medal at the European Championship.
During the annual IMMAF Athlete Award ceremony, Maria Klein was awarded in the "Youth Athlete of the Year" category, showcasing the successes of young athletes.
This recognition was particularly significant for Klein, who, as a displaced person from Orikhiv, became the world champion in the youth category up to 56.7 kg.
