The Ukrainian national football team celebrates its second consecutive win in the qualification for the 2026 World Cup. In the fourth round of qualifiers, the ‘blue and yellows’ defeated the Azerbaijan team 2:1.
Goals were scored by Oleksiy Hutsulyak and Ruslan Malinovskyi.
Earlier, in the third round, the Ukrainians triumphed over Iceland, finishing the match with a score of 5:3.
After four rounds, the Ukrainian team has gathered seven points and occupies the second place in the group, only behind France.
The ‘blue and yellows’ will play their next matches on November 13 against France and on November 16 against Iceland.
