The Ukrainian national teams in sitting volleyball have achieved remarkable success, winning bronze medals at the European Championship!

Both the men's and women's teams secured third place in the competition held in the Hungarian city of Győr, featuring 12 men's and 9 women's teams.

The women's team triumphed over Slovenia with a score of 3:1 in the bronze match, while the men's team claimed victory over Serbia with a score of 3:0.

Yaroslava Lakatosh was named the best defender of the championship, while Antonina Zhuk was awarded the title of best attacker.

Both Ukrainian teams earned spots as the top three teams (men's and women's) to participate in the 2026 World Championship in sitting volleyball, which will be held in Hangzhou, China.
