Ukraine's top tennis player Elina Svitolina has spoken about the possibility of ending her career.

These remarks were highlighted by The Tennis Letter.

"I wouldn't want to play as long as Gael. I just want to enjoy a happy retirement and play less. Being on tour for so many years is really tough for me. Sometimes it feels lonely.

There are challenging moments. I have many interests outside of tennis and wouldn't mind stopping earlier than Gael", Svitolina explained.

It's worth noting that the tennis star is only 30 years old, while her husband, Gael Monfils, is already 38.
