The Ukrainian artistic swimming team participated in the second final at Euro-2025 in Funchal, Portugal. The Ukrainian duo performed in the free program.
Ukraine sent a team of 10 artistic swimmers to Euro-2025. They have already competed in one of the finals, with the duet of Daria Moshynska and Anastasia Shmonina finishing in sixth place in the technical program.
How did the free program competition go?
- Moshynska and Shmonina started ninth in the free program final. For artistic impression, the Ukrainian team scored 116.50 points, finishing just behind the Spaniards who earned the silver medal. For execution, the "blue and yellow" team received 103.7899 points.
- Thanks to their performance, the Ukrainians earned 220.2899 points, placing them temporarily in second position.
- Despite five more duets competing after them, they could not hold their podium position. Ultimately, the Ukrainian duet finished in fifth place, trailing the podium by nearly 17 points.
- The European champions in the free duet program were the representatives from Italy, who surpassed the Spaniards by only 2.3 points.
