The Defense Procurement Agency has supplied the first batch of hygiene kits for injured soldiers, totaling 50,000 kits worth 26 million UAH.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense press service.
«The Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense has provided hospitals with hygiene kits that meet the daily needs of injured military personnel. The first batch, valued at over 26 million hryvnias, consists of 50,000 kits, including 2,000 for women», the statement reads.
The Ministry of Defense notes that these kits are part of the «Wounded Package», which includes adaptive clothing and personal hygiene items:
- towel,
- toothbrush and toothpaste,
- shampoo,
- shower gel,
- deodorant,
- cream,
- shaving supplies,
- comb,
- cotton swabs,
- antiseptic,
- wet and dry wipes, etc.
Women's kits also include additional hygiene products, cotton pads, and a silicone hair tie.
Each kit contains a legal guide from the Human Rights Center team for servicemen «Principle», a thank-you postcard with a child's drawing, and a QR code for feedback to enhance the kit's contents based on the wounded soldiers' reviews.
Within the framework of the «Wounded Package» project, the Ministry of Defense has procured and organized the delivery of over 600,000 units of adaptive clothing to military medical facilities throughout 2025.
