In Kyiv, a charity initiative has started supporting children living in difficult conditions in Eastern Ukraine. The festive market «Christmas in Podil» is hosting a collection of New Year gifts aimed at helping the little ones.

This year, the campaign is particularly significant as the organizers plan to bring warmth and joy to children through soft toys, especially teddy bears. The gifts will be sent to Sloviansk, where nearly five thousand children reside.

The collection takes place in a cozy tent at Contract Square, located under the Ferris wheel. Everyone is welcome to leave their toys under the Christmas trees inside the tent.

In addition to teddy bears, children's books in Ukrainian, creative kits (paints, albums, pencils), and lanterns are also accepted. For those who cannot attend in person, there is an option to send gifts by mail or to support the initiative financially.

The organizers emphasize that each teddy bear or hryvnia donated brings joy and a sense of celebration to children, even in challenging living conditions.
