A picnic event titled «Paws, Coffee, and Donations» took place in Kyiv, bringing together dogs and their owners. The primary goal of the event was to support animals from frontline areas and promote animal therapy to improve the mental health of military personnel and veterans.

The charitable aspect of the event focused on raising funds for Mykhailo Puryshyev, a volunteer from Mariupol who has been saving people and animals for three years, providing evacuation, food, and medical supplies, as well as setting up shelters.

«We understand what it means to be near the front line and lose contact with loved ones. Mykhailo does not abandon people and animals in frontline areas, risking his life to give them a chance for rescue,» said Artem Ipatov, CEO of #ShоTam.

Visitors enjoyed lectures from professionals in animal therapy, dog training, and veterinary medicine, along with contests and competitions for dogs. One of the highlights was the «Furry Talents» contest.

«The number of canine participants is increasing with each event, and we are delighted to observe the improvement in obedience and interaction between humans and dogs,» noted Kateryna Shershnyova, founder of Holy Doggy.

The event featured grooming zones, workshops for people and dogs, photo areas, veterinary services, and a craft fair.

The organizers created a warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone — both humans and their four-legged friends — found new connections, valuable knowledge, and inspiration. Such events are crucial for society, showcasing the various roles dogs play in people's lives.

The picnic «Paws, Coffee, and Donations» was initiated by the positive news media #ShоTam in collaboration with Holy Doggy. Thanks to socially responsible companies, entry to the event was free, and every dog received special gifts.
