On September 1, 2025, in Kyiv at Respublika Park, the documentary film about Ukrainian Armed Forces veteran Stepan Korobkin was premiered.
The film highlights the event of December 12, 2024, when the veteran, supported by Ukrainian record holder Tetiana Yalovchak, ascended Kilimanjaro (5895 meters), opting for the challenging Machame route.
Stepan Korobkin achieved this milestone with an amputated upper right limb. He underwent osteointegrative prosthetics and rehabilitation at the ‘TYTANOVI’ center.
His journey includes participation in combat operations, a severe injury, amputation, and 32 surgeries.
Stepan's story exemplifies the notion that nothing is impossible, emphasizes Viacheslav Zaporozeць, founder of the ‘TYTANOVI’ rehabilitation center.
“Each of our patients faces their own challenges after injuries, but the strength of spirit, family support, and modern rehabilitation methods can help them return to an active life. Climbing Kilimanjaro is not just a sporting achievement; it symbolizes victory over circumstances, inspiring other veterans to fight for their future,” added Viacheslav Zaporozeць.
Respublika Park highlights their ongoing openness to projects showcasing the spirit of Ukrainians.
“Stories like Stepan's exhibit incredible will to live and inspire. We are proud and support charitable initiatives with our partners,” said Yuliia Shchaslyva, General Director of Respublika Park.
