The international commission has confirmed that Ukrainian rescue teams are eligible to participate in rescue missions anywhere in the world.

The State Emergency Service team has successfully passed re-certification according to the strictest UN standards, achieving the highest status as a heavy-class team under the INSARAG methodology. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

The international commission was impressed by the professionalism and equipment of the Ukrainian specialists. INSARAG Secretariat representative Terje Skavdal summarized, "Your team is one of the best in the world. I look forward to working with you."

Ukrainian rescuers have previously assisted other countries, notably participating in the aftermath of the earthquake in Turkey in 2023.

As a show of support, the Polish State Fire Service provided our emergency responders with modern equipment. This further enhances their capabilities and demonstrates that Ukraine is ready for any challenges.

Recently, capital city rescuers received a unique fire truck. Its main task is to ensure an uninterrupted water supply during large-scale firefighting operations. Such equipment is especially crucial in areas lacking firefighting water sources or where there are access issues to water.
