The Operations Director of Bring Kids Back UA, Daria Zarivna, participated in the annual democratic festival Folkemødet in Denmark.
Alongside former NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, she took part in a panel focused on the return of deported children.
«The deportation of children is part of a broader Kremlin strategy. If the international community does not intervene, Russia could raise up to 1.6 million children for its aggressive purposes», – she emphasized.
Daria also provided information about the list of abducted children that the Ukrainian side submitted to Russia during previous negotiations in Istanbul. She noted that if Russia is genuinely interested in dialogue, it should return at least the children listed.
During the panel discussing the role of civil society, she highlighted the importance of partnership between the state, NGOs, and volunteers, which was initiated under the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
Daria also held several meetings with European politicians and experts, discussing future projects under the Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
