A fire broke out on train No. 115 Sumy-Kyiv near the Putivl station.
This was reported by the press service of "Ukrainian Railways".
"As a result of the fire in the carriage, a railway worker lost his life, but there were no injuries among passengers. The fire has been contained, and the causes are being investigated," the statement said.
It is noted that the train continued its journey to Kyiv without 4 detached carriages. All passengers have been transferred to available seats in other carriages.
According to UZ, the delay is about 1 hour but is expected to decrease.
Reminder:
In early April, the enemy shelled the town of Semenivka, located near the border of Ukraine and Russia in the Chernihiv region, damaging the local station.
