In the first quarter of 2025, Ukraine's vehicle fleet welcomed 12,800 electric cars (BEV).

This was reported by the Ukrainian Automobile Industry Association (Ukravtoprom).

The highest registration numbers were recorded in:

  • Lviv region – 1,961 units (94% used);
  • Kyiv city – 1,632 units (68% used);
  • Kyiv region – 1,120 units (76% used);
  • Dnipropetrovsk region – 986 units (80% used);
  • Odesa region – 761 units (76% used).

Among new vehicles, the BYD Song Plus EV has become the most popular electric car in these markets.

Regarding imported used vehicles:

  • TESLA Model Y – in Kyiv and its region;
  • TESLA Model 3 – in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions;
  • NISSAN Leaf – in Odesa region.

As a reminder:

  • In January-March, Ukrainians purchased 12,000 imported used cars under 5 years old.
