Andriy Yermak, the former head of the Presidential Office, has declared that he is heading to the front. He made this announcement in a text message to New York Post on Friday evening.
"I am going to the front and ready for any repercussions. I am an honest and decent person," emphasized Yermak.
He also apologized if he would not be able to respond to calls anymore. However, he did not disclose when and how he plans to go to the front lines or if he will join the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"I have been disgraced, and my dignity has not been protected, despite being in Kyiv since February 24, 2022. Therefore, I do not want to create problems for Zelensky; I am going to the front. I am outraged by the dirt thrown at me, and even more so by the lack of support from those who know the truth," added Yermak.
It is worth noting that President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Yermak, who previously submitted his resignation.
