Due to the threat of Russian shelling, «Ukrzaliznytsia» is restructuring its routes in frontline regions. This was announced by the chairman Oleksandr Pertzovsky during a telethon.

«I won’t go into details, but we are modifying our routes to reduce security risks», — he stated.

Pertzovsky noted that the Russian army continues to attack Ukrzaliznytsia's rolling stock, but the company plans to maintain connections with frontline communities.

«Frontline areas are attacked daily. However, it's crucial to keep connections with these cities... We urge all passengers to follow the instructions of train crews and station staff. Certain sections will be serviced by buses, and routes will be adjusted to minimize risks», — he added.
