This information was shared by Metsola during her speech at the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
«I am here to further strengthen our cooperation. We are opening a permanent representation of the European Parliament in Kyiv, so that we are present in Ukraine and work alongside you every day. This has been our commitment to you, and we are fulfilling it», - stated the President of the European Parliament.
She began her address to the Rada by honoring the memory of former Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy, who was killed in Lviv.
