During his visit to the United Kingdom, Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal inspected the training conditions for Ukrainian servicemen. He shared this news via Telegram.
Shmyhal toured a training ground where Ukrainian soldiers are being trained by instructors from various countries, including the UK, Romania, Albania, Denmark, Australia, Finland, Sweden, New Zealand, Kosovo, Lithuania, and Estonia.
He engaged in discussions with Ukrainian servicemen and foreign instructors to hear their insights on the training process.
Additionally, he attended a briefing from the commander of the “Interflex” operation, which has trained over 60,000 Ukrainian troops since June 2022.
"It is crucial that our allies incorporate lessons from modern warfare into the training, making the conditions as realistic as possible," Shmyhal emphasized.
He participated in the graduation ceremony for a group of 150 servicemen who will soon bolster the Ukrainian Defense Forces, presenting awards to both Ukrainian and foreign military personnel.
Shmyhal thanked the soldiers for their successful completion of the courses and their commitment to contributing to victory, expressing gratitude to the UK and partner nations for their quality training of Ukrainian troops.
In London, during the international arms exhibition DSEI, the minister held several meetings with representatives of leading defense companies.
