The United States has approved a new agreement to provide Ukraine with maintenance and logistical support services for M777 howitzers. The total value of the package is $203.5 million.

This was announced in an official Pentagon press release.

The first contract, worth $104 million, entails the sale of military equipment, repair services, and support for the M777 howitzers. The primary contractor will be BAE Systems from the UK.

The second contract, valued at $99.5 million, includes transportation and logistical services, with the contractor to be selected from approved US suppliers.

The Pentagon emphasized that there is currently no information regarding any compensation agreements within this arrangement.
