The Ukrainian Navy forces are safeguarding our waters, land, and skies, doing everything necessary for our country's safety.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in a Facebook post commemorating the Day of the Ukrainian Navy.

Together with all defense forces, the Navy has proven that Ukraine can and will defend its interests.

“There will be no Russian landing in Odesa, the ‘Moscow’ has sunk, Snake Island is under Ukraine's control, 28 Russian ships and one submarine have been destroyed or damaged, and the ‘grain corridor’ is operational, ensuring global food security,” emphasized Zelensky as he congratulated the Navy on their special day.

The Day of the Ukrainian Navy has been celebrated since 2015 on the first Sunday of July, according to the Presidential decree of June 12, 2015.
