Ukrzaliznytsia has broadened the list of train routes that will feature women's compartments. Starting from July 25, these carriages will operate on three new routes.

This was announced by UZ.

"Ensuring comfort and safety during travel is one of our priorities. Therefore, we are expanding the women's compartment project," UZ stated.

New compartments will be available on the following trains:

  • № 38/37 Kyiv – Zaporizhzhia;
  • № 98/97 Kovel – Kyiv;
  • № 22/21 Lviv – Kharkiv.

The women's compartments will be located in carriage № 5, starting operations on July 25.

Overall, women's compartments are now available on 15 trains:

  • № 1/2 Kharkiv – Vorokhta;
  • № 3/4 Zaporizhzhia – Uzhhorod;
  • № 5/6 Zaporizhzhia – Yasinia;
  • № 15/16 Kharkiv – Yasinia;
  • № 17/18 Kharkiv – Mukachevo;
  • № 22/21 Lviv – Kharkiv;
  • № 26/25 Odesa – Yasinia;
  • № 29/30 Kyiv – Uzhhorod;
  • № 38/37 Kyiv – Zaporizhzhia;
  • № 41/42 Dnipro – Truskavets;
  • № 43/44 Cherkasy – Ivano-Frankivsk;
  • № 75/76 Kyiv – Kryvyi Rih;
  • № 81/82 Kyiv – Chop;
  • № 95/96 Kyiv – Rakhiv;
  • № 98/97 Kovel – Kyiv.

Only women or women with children under the age of 5 are allowed to travel in these compartments. The fare for traveling in these carriages is the same as in other compartments.
