The Minister of Defense of Lithuania, Dovilė Šakalienė, stated that the country is planning to start the production of maritime drones under the "1+1" scheme: one for Lithuania, one for Ukraine.

In an interview with "Military", she expressed interest in collaborating with Ukraine on the development of strike drones and other military equipment.

"Magura is, in my opinion, an excellent military product," she emphasized.

Šakalienė mentioned that the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania aims to initiate joint production of certain weapon types following the "1+1" model. This means that Lithuania will fund the production of two units of weaponry, with one being transferred to Ukraine.

"We pay for the production of two units of weaponry: one stays in Lithuania, and the other goes to Ukraine, but we cover the costs for both," she explained.

Magura V5 is a Ukrainian multipurpose unmanned surface vessel that can perform various tasks, including surveillance, reconnaissance, patrolling, search and rescue, mine countermeasures, maritime security, and combat operations.
