In Kyiv, law enforcement officers arrested a young man who was found with 150 vials of cannabis and about 50 wraps of narcotics at his residence. He faces up to eight years in prison for his actions.
 The incident occurred during a patrol in the Dnipro district when police stopped a suspicious individual. Document checks revealed he was carrying illegal substances.
The arrested individual was a 26-year-old Kyiv resident working as a "courier" for an illegal online drug store. His duties included leaving "drops" for clients.
A total of 150 cannabis vials and around 50 marijuana wraps were seized from him. An examination confirmed that the confiscated items are narcotic substances. The police detained him under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Investigators informed him of the suspicion under Part 1 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – illegal acquisition and storage of narcotic substances for the purpose of trafficking, which carries a penalty of up to eight years in prison.
