The incident occurred yesterday around 21:30 at the «Obolon» metro station in Kyiv.
A group of young individuals assaulted a 24-year-old local resident, knocking him to the ground and beating him. Law enforcement quickly intervened and detained all participants of the incident.
It was determined that the attackers were five teenagers aged between 13 and 17, along with two older friends aged 19 and 21. They claimed their actions were in response to an insult directed at their female companion who was with them. Police interviewed the minors and returned them to their parents.
Investigators have initiated a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine regarding gross violations of public order committed by a group of individuals.
