Counterintelligence officers from the Security Service of Ukraine have apprehended two individuals working for the FSB who were coordinating Russian airstrikes on the capital. The perpetrators employed 4G cameras with remote access to assist the invaders.

Their objective was to monitor Ukrainian missile attacks in real time, particularly interested in the coordinates from which Ukrainian air defense operated.

Investigations revealed that most of the cameras were installed on upper floors of apartment buildings in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.

Using FSB funding, the agents rented apartments and brought in the necessary equipment.

It is known that a 22-year-old man from Poltava and his 19-year-old wife were seeking easy money through Telegram.

After being recruited, the agents traveled between cities in northern Ukraine searching for residences near military facilities.

Additionally, they set up cameras near key railway junctions.

The SBU timely exposed this agent network and took measures to ensure safety.

Both perpetrators were apprehended red-handed while installing a camera near a defense facility.

Investigators from the SBU charged them with treason during wartime. They are currently in custody without the possibility of bail and face life imprisonment.

The operation was conducted in Kyiv and the region under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
