The police in Kyiv have launched an investigation due to the presence of Nazi symbols online. Recently, during an online monitoring operation, officers from the criminal analysis department discovered a post featuring a 23-year-old woman from Kyiv posing with a Nazi flag.

This image was shared on her social media profile. Investigators from the Svyatoshyn police department have recorded this incident in the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations under part 1 of article 436-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which pertains to the manufacture and promotion of communist and Nazi symbols.

As part of the ongoing criminal investigation, law enforcement has seized the flag as evidence. The pre-trial investigation is still in progress, and the article's sanctions can lead to up to five years of imprisonment with property confiscation.
