Last night in the Oleksandrivskyi district of Zaporizhia, a trio of young men vandalized blue and yellow flags that symbolize Ukrainian statehood.

The incident was captured by bystanders, and the video quickly circulated on social media.

Law enforcement conducted a series of operational measures and identified those involved in the crime. They turned out to be three local youths aged 19 and 21.

A criminal investigation has been opened regarding this incident. Legal classification – Part 1 of Article 338 (Desecration of State Symbols) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are ongoing.
